Thomas WALTHER

  General Notes:

Thomas Walther was a citizen and innkeeper at Beyerberg. He died, almost 72 years old, on the first day of January in 1613 and was buried on the next day. "Thoma [sic] Walther, innkeeper, at this place, attended on the New Year's Day the morning sermon, then in the afternoon he lay down, in the evening or at night he died, and was buried the following day in the afternoon. For many years he was a judge at Waizendorfand since 1610 he had been mayor." Waizendorf was an "Amt" or bailiwick belonging to the Monastery Heilsbronn. That he married Anna is inferred by her name in 1565 and 1567 when she was a
godmother. She died and was buried, both events on 6.Jul.1570. ²⁹⁰
