Retired Lumberman, John A. Hart, Dies

SUMMERSVILLE \emdash A retired lumberman and lifelong resident of Nicholas County, John Adam Hart, 87, died yesterday in Warren, Ohio where he was visiting.

Mr. Hart, of Summersville was a member of Simpson Methodist Church at Gad.

Surviving are three sons, William B. of Warren, Ohio, Jennings E. of Lookout and Kelley G. of Enterprise; three daughters, Mrs. Selena Fall of Warren, Ohio, Mrs. Annie P. Taylor of Summersville and Mrs. Myrtle McCombs of Beckley; 39 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Simpson Methodist Church at Gad by the Rev. Joe Brown. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Adam married Matilda Florence "May" FORINASH, daughter of William Dexter FORINASH and Cyntha Jane HARDMAN, on 14 Dec 1935 in Summersville, Nicholas Co., WV.⁷¹⁹ (Matilda Florence "May" FORINASH was born on 1 Sep 1875 in Braxton Co., WV,⁷⁰³ died on 14 Mar 1944 in Summersville, Nicholas Co., WV ⁷⁰³ and was buried on 18 Mar 1944 in Blacks Chapel Cemetery, Camden-On-Gauley, Webster Co., WV ^703,704.). The cause of her death was undetermined, found dead in bed.
