Ex-Greenbrier Man Killed By Electricity
EAST RAINELLE (Special) ? Word has been received here of the death of Thurmond Walkup of Coolwater, 0., formerly of Crawley in Greenbrier county.
According to attendants of Wallace and Wallace mortuary Walkup was electrocuted while working on a high tension line yesterday. No further details of the fatality have been received. The body will arrive at the mortuary sometime tomorrow.
Surviving: His parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Walkup of Crawley; sister, Mrs. Glady Clemons of Crawley and two brothers, Thomas of Columbus, O., and Cleo of Crawley.
Allen married Nellie Katherine SMITH, daughter of Otey SMITH and Eva E. PAINE, on 2 Jun 1934 in Ronceverte, Greenbrier Co., WV.73 (Nellie Katherine SMITH was born on 2 Aug 1911 in Greenbrier Co., WV 73.)
