RAINELLE - Lorena "Lovena" Abrru, 68, of Rainelle, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2004, in the Greenbrier Valley Hospital at Fairlea following a long illness.
Born Nov. 9, 1935, at Crag, she was the daughter of the late Eldon and Josie Osborne Martin.
Mrs. Abrru was a registered nurse and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Arnaldo J. Abrru; and a sister, Lousie Martin.
Survivors include six brothers, Leroy Martin and wife, Jane, of Beckley, Lonzo Martin and wife, Edna, of Rupert, Lacy Martin and wife, Letha, of Painesville, Ohio, Larry Martin and wife, Wanda, of Quinwood, Charles Martin of Crag, and Ronald Martin and wife, Joan, of Rainelle; a brother-in-law, Fred Martin of Rainelle; seven nieces and five nephews.
A memorial service will be 7 p.m. today at Smathers Funeral Chapel with Pastors Dana Gatewood and Norman Fleshman officiating.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
