CORLISS - Ryland Dickson Burr, 99, of Corliss, Fayette County, died Saturday in Summersville Memorial Hospital.
He was a member of the Minnie Belle Baptist Church in Corliss, a retired water well driller.
Surviving: daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Gunnoe of Lookout, Mrs. Zela Marks of Mt. Nebo, Mrs. Geraldine Wood and Mrs. Patricia Rogers both of Charleston, Mrs. Louise Holliday of Frederica, Del.; sons, Weston of Russellville, Cecil and Elson, both of Corliss, Allen of Stockport, Ohio; 30 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren.
Service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Minnie Belle Baptist Church with the Rev. Arthur Backus officiating. Burial will be in Shawver Cemetery in Corliss.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Wallace-Wallace Funeral Home in Rainelle. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to service.
