RAVENNA,Ohio - Mrs. Leona Catherine Sanford, 85, of Ravenna, died Friday in Robinson Memorial Hospital, Ravenna.
She was a native of Fayette County, W.Va., and was a member of the Blackhorse Baptist Church, Ravenna.
Surviving: husband, Toney; daughters, Mrs. Robert Perdue of Decota, W.Va., Mrs. Robert Boothe of Ravenna and Miss Linda Sanford of Ravenna; sons, the Rev. Earl Sanford, Dallas, and Rush, all of Ravenna, the Rev. Melvin Sanford of Irwin, Ohio; 24 grandchildren; and 25 greatgrandchildren.
Service will be 10 a.m. Monday in Blackhorse Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Nichols and the Rev. Lorren Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Ravenna.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Shorts Funeral Home, Ravenna.
