John Matthew Simms, 91, died yesterday at his home on Simms mountain near Rainelle. He was born in Greenbrier county, the son of David and Jennie Simms.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Little Creek Baptist church. Rev. George Adams will officiate. Burial will be in charge of Wallace & Wallace mortuary of East Rainelle.
Surviving are three sons, Henry of Layland, W. D. of Rainelle and B. O. of Simms Mountain; three daughters, Mrs. Donnie Wiggins, Meadow Bridge; Mrs. Jennie Fox, Victor, and Miss Bertie Simms, Ceredo.
