McRoss Woman Is Given Shower

McRoss (RNS) - Miss Katherine Tuckwiller was honored with a bridal shower Saturday night at the Lamp Post restaurant in Rainelle. A daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Tuckwiller of McRoss, she is a senior at Marshall University.

She will become the bride of Jesse Jay Copen III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse J. Copen, Jr. of McRoss, at 2 p.m. June 19 in an open church ceremony at McRoss Baptist Church. A reception will follow at the Pioneer Hotel in Rainelle.

Hostesses were Mrs. Stella Dalton, Mrs. Janice Tignor, Mrs. Rosemary Cook and Mrs. Helen Williams. Games were played and a prize was won by Mrs. Lacy Bryant.

Refreshments were served to Mrs. Cleo Pitsenbarger of Crawley, Mrs. Nellie Tuckwiller of Asbury, Mrs. Ethel Wingrove, Mrs. Lizzie Robinson, Mrs. Mabel Legg, Mrs. Metta Piercy, Mrs. Faye Tuckwiller, all of Clintonville.
