Gus Brown Dies; Funeral Planned
RAINELLE (RNS) ? Gus Brown, 92, of Rainelle died Saturday at his home after a long illness.
Born May 18, 1887, at Rainelle, he was a son of the late Tinsley and Jenny Osborne Brown. He was a retired miner and a member of the Little Sewell Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Fleshman Brown of Rainelle; a daughter, Myrtle Tincher of Rainelle, and two sons, Howard and Carl, both of Rainelle.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Don Smathers Funeral Chapel in Rainelle with Rev. Bert Jones in charge. Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery at Rainelle.
Friends may call at the Funeral home after noon today.
