Moffett E. Morris, 91, of Ronceverte, Greenbrier County, died Dec. 6, 1986, at Allegheny Regional Hospital, Lowmoor, Va., after a long illness. He spent most life in Ronceverte, was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Methodist Men. He was an Army veteran of World War I, a lifetime member of the American Legion and a charter member of West Virginia National Guard. He was a retired yard conductor for C&O Railway with 44 years' service. Surviving: daughters, Mildred M. Williams of Greenbelt, Md. and Dorothy M. Byars of Alexandria, Va.; sons, George E. of Lewisburg,. Earl L. of Fairlea, Roy T. of Ronceverte and Donald G. of Roanoke, Va.; sister, Ethel M. Livesay of White Sulphur Springs; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Randolph Kidd officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Ronceverte. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at Wallace-Wallace Funeral Home, Ronceverte.
