Charles Walkup
CRAWLEY (RNS) - Charles Roy Walkup, 72, died Monday morning at his home of natural causes.
Born Aug. 29, 1903, at Crawley, he was a son of the late Charles and Bertie Keys Walkup.
He was a World War II veteran and a retired carpenter.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Odessa Marie Bryant of Crawley; five sisters, Mrs. Gertie Bryant of Crawley, Mrs. Ethel Scruggs of Williston, S.C., Mrs. Enna Ford of Barstow, Calif., Mrs. Alice Jones of Meadow Bluff and Mrs. Ruth Hall of Belle, and five brothers, Loren of Glen Burnie, Md., Ray of Crawley, and Lawrence, Lake and Clayton, all of Kendallwille, Ind.
The body is at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Rainelle.
