Rites Monday For Man, 85
ASBURY (RNS) - Homer E. Tuckwiller, 85, died Friday evening in a Fairlea hospital after a long illness.
Born at Asbury, Feb. 16, 1890, he was a son of the late John and Mary Dietz Tuckwiller.
He attended the James Chapel United Methodist Church and was a retired farmer.
Survivors include three sons, Lawrence of Alexandria, Va., and Robert and Clifton, both of Asbury; 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at McCraw Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Rev. Leroy Crane and Rev. B. B. Mitchem in charge. Burial will be in End-of-the-Trail Cemetery at Clintonville.
Friends may call after noon Sunday and the family will receive friends from 7-9:30 p.m.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Homer married Stella LEGG on 28 Oct 1918 in Lewisburg, Greenbrier Co., WV.609 (Stella LEGG was born in 1898 in Greenbrier Co., WV 609 and died on 29 Dec 1967 in Ronceverte, Greenbrier Co., WV 30.). The cause of her death was bronchopneumonia, bilateral, acute.
