Howard P. Scruggs - 70, Greenbrier county farmer, died Friday at the home of a son, Ed Scruggs of Crawley. Surviving also: widow, Mrs. Eliza Jane Scruggs; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Jones of East Rainelle and Mrs. Lillian Hedrick of Clintonville; a sister, Mrs. Ella Nicely of Kieffer; and two brothers, Wesley and Vinson Scruggs of Kieffer. Services Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the son's home at Crawley, Rev. L. W. Crane of Rupert officiating. Burial in Walkup cemetery, Nickell mortuary of East Rainelle.
