Rupert Resident Succumbs At 87
RUPERT (RNS) - Mrs. Hettie Laura Winebrenner, 87, died at her home at 2:20 p.m. Mondy after a long illness.
She was a member of the Amwell Baptist Church at Rupert.
Born at Rupert, April 24, 1876, she was a daughter of the late James A. and Mary E. McClung Deitz.
Her husband, the Rev. G. A. Winebrenner, preceeded her in death in 1938.
Survivors include a brother, John Q. Deitz of Rupert; and a sister, Mrs. Erna W. Nichols of Rupert.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Amwell Baptist Church at Rupert with the Rev. G. C. Musick and the Rev. Larence Dorsey and the Rev. Donald Fields in charge. Brial will be in the church cemetery.
The body will remain at Nickell Funeral Home in East Rainelle and will be taken to the church one hour prior to the funeral.
Hettie married Rev. George Allen WINEBRENNER. (Rev. George Allen WINEBRENNER was born on 22 May 1853 in Fayette Co., VA,1167 died on 9 May 1938 in Rupert, Greenbrier Co., WV 1167 and was buried on 11 May 1938 in Amwell Baptist Church Cemetery, Rupert, Greenbrier Co., WV 1167.). The cause of his death was angina pectoris.
