ROANOKE, Va. - Lorena Faye McKinney, 73, of Roanoke, formerly of Rupert, Greenbrier County, W.Va., died Saturday, July 15, 2000, in Lewis Gale Medical Center, Salem, Va., after a long illness. She was a homemaker and a member of Beaver Creek Baptist Church, Kieffer, W.Va. She was preceded in death by husband, Duane McKinney. Surviving: sons, Danny E. McKinney of Queens, N.Y., Carl Eugene Heard of Bainbridge, Ga.; sister, Kathleen "Kat" Collins of Roanoke; grandchildren, Tonya and Robbie of Roanoke; one great-grandchild. Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Wallace-Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle, W.Va., with the Rev. Gary Eisenman officiating. Burial will be in Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville, W.Va. Friends may call one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
