Nora J. Berry's Services Sunday
Mrs. Nora Jane Berry, 85, of 128 Smith St., Beckley, died at 1:20 p.m. Friday in a local hospital after a long illness.
Born March 15, 1886, at Pulaski, Va., she was a daughter of the late Henry and Margaret Clark Haley.
She was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, 0. F. Berry.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs, Bessie Plumley of Beckley; one brother, John Haley of Sophia; two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Phipps of Meadow Bluff and Mrs. Goldie Cook of Pittsburgh, Pa.; five grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Peace Chapel with the Rev. Paul Rutherford in charge. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
