DAWSON - Mrs. Althea Martin Kirgan, 52, of Charlotte, N. C., formerly of Dawson, Greenbrier County, died Sunday at home. She was an office manager for Steel Drum Co. in Charlotte and was a member of Meadow Grove Baptist Church. Surviving: husband, Robert; daughter, Mrs. Gretha Hoyle of Charlotte; son, Edward F. of Charlotte; father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Kay Martin of Dawson; sisters, Mrs. Bonnie Wills, Mrs. Gretha Childers and Mrs. Nancy Thomas, all of Baltimore, Mrs. Martha Lynch of
Clarksburg; brothers, Whorlen of Clintonville, Robert and Ardell "Wimpy", both of Dawson. Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Meadow Grove Baptist Church in Dawson with the Rev. Leroy Crane officiating. Burial will be in Martin Cemetery, Dawson. Friends may call after 9 a.m. Wednesday at Wallace-Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle. The body will be taken to the church an hour before the service.
