RICHWOOD - Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hampton of Richwood have announced the engagement of their
daughter, Leona Ann of Columbus, Ohio, to John H. McCutcheon, son of Mrs. W. G. Barnewall of Green
Bank and the late Dr. Luster McCutcheon. The wedding is planned for 2:30 p. m. on June 29 at the First Methodist Church here.
Miss Hampton graduated from Richwood High School and Glenville State College and teaches in Columbus. She formerly was employed by the Nicholas County Board of Education.
Her fiance graduated from Green Bank High School and West Virginia University. He is associated with the law firm of Palmer and McCutcheon in Charleston. McCutcheon is a member of Sigma Chi social fraternity, Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity, the Republican State Executive Committee, and the board of directors of Sigma Chi House Corp.
Following a wedding trip to Canadian Maritime Provinces, the couple will reside at 704 Viewmont Dr., Charleston.
