ARLINGTON, Va. - Mrs. Elsie Susan Crane, 58, a former resident of Orient Hill, Greenbrier County, died Thursday at her home in Arlington, Va.
She was a member of the Bellburn Methodist Church.
Surviving: husband, Oel; son, Edward Stidom of Lexington, Ky.; mother, Mrs. Amanda Smith of Richwood; sister, Mrs. Bonnie Collins of Richwood; brothers, Golden Smith of Columbus, Ga., Ernest Smith of Richwood, Jerry Smith of Baltimore.
Service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Bellburn Methodist Church and burial will be in the End of the Trail cemetery, Clintonville. The body is at Wallace-Wallace Funeral Home, East Rainelle.
Elsie married Oel Barona CRANE, son of Jumbo Jackson "Jum" CRANE and Atlee Burpee THOMAS. (Oel Barona CRANE was born on 14 Jun 1914 in Williamsburg, Greenbrier Co., WV, died on 21 Oct 1982 in Wichita Falls, Wichita Co., TX and was buried on 24 Oct 1982 in End Of The Trail Cemetery, Clintonville, Greenbrier Co., WV.)
