CARLOS J. "JUNIOR" WALKER JR., 47, of Sophia, Raleigh County, died Sept. 6, 1986, in Summers County Hospital from injuries suffered in an automobile accident near Hinton, according to the Summers County Sheriff's Department. He was the owner of Sophia Furniture Co., Sophia. He was a member of Bellburn Methodist Church, Bellburn. Surviving: wife, Ruth Ann McClung Walker; son, Michael at home; daughters, Deanna Worrell of Huntington, Johanna Martin of Sophia; mother, Faye Crane May of Middletown, Ohio; brother, W.B. "Sonny" of Rainelle; half brothers, Thomas J. Walker of Beckley and Timmy Walker of Wilmington, Del.; sisters, Wapella Carver, Darlene Adams and Corrine Lowman, all of Middletown; half sisters, Donzetta Roush of Stanaford, Rexanna Kidd of Wilmington; two grandchildren. Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Williams-Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Sophia, with the Rev. Jim Mundy officiating. Entombment will be in Wallace Memorial Mausoleum, Clintonville, with the Rev. Houston Boothe officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
