HERMAN LEXIE REDDEN, 69, OF Orient Hill, Greenbrier County, died Aug. 9, 1993, at home after a long illness. He was an Army veteran and a member of VFW Post 4484. He was a retired coal miner and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rainelle. Surviving: wife, Arthena Crane Redden; daughters, Anna Puett of Kokomo, Ind., Margaret Golden of Rainelle, Janet Page of Hyattsville, Md., Marilyn Kelley of Rupert, Kathy Lewis of St. Albans; sons, Lexie and Pete, both of Orient Hill, Robert of Clintonville; sister, Margie Sweet of Hines; 18 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rainelle, with the Rev. John Duhaime officiating. Entombment will be in Wallace Memorial Mausoleum, Clintonville. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Wallace-Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle.
