NEWARK, Ohio ? Morton M. Ford, Jr., 57, of Newark, Ohio, formerly of Charmco, Greenbrier County, died Sunday at home after a long illness. He was a World War II veteran. Surviving: wife, Louise Shawver Ford; daughters, Mrs. Lois Scarberry of Newark, Ohio, Mrs. Connie Harbaugh of Hebron, Ohio; sons, Morton M. III of Alexandria, Va., Gary B. at home; mother, Mrs. Maude Ford of Fairlea; sister, Mrs. Henrietta Fegley of Santee, S.C.; five grandchildren. Service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in
Wallace-Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle, with the Rev. Pearly Orndorff officiating. Burial will be in Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Buddy married Mary Louise SHAWVER, daughter of Carl Winford SHAWVER Sr. and Mary Lena NEFF. (Mary Louise SHAWVER was born on 28 Nov 1920 in Fayette Co., WV,88 died on 23 Jun 1977 in Newark, Licking Co., OH 61 and was buried in Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville, Greenbrier Co., WV 64.)
