DAWSON - Samuel Lloyd Deem, 75, of Dawson, Greenrier County, died Wednesday in Charleston Memorial Hospital.
He was a retired farmer and a member of Meadow Grove Baptist Church at Dawson.
Surviving: wife, Mary Adene Deem; sons, Delvin of Keyser, Richard of Havelock, N.C.; daughters, Mrs. Drema Helmick and Mrs. Phyllis Helmick, both of Dawson; three grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Don Smathers Funeral Home in Rainelle with the Rev. Leroy Crane, the Rev. Roy Kessler and the Rev. Houston Booth officiating. Burial will be in Wallace Memorial Cemetery at Clintonville. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today.
