Daniel E. Crane Dies in Hospital
Daniel Earl Crane, 59, died yesterday in a Charleston hospital after a short illness.
His wife, Mrs. Hallie Crane, was found dead in her bed Thursday morning at home.
The couple operated an upholstery business here. He was a cabinet maker and she was an upholsterer. Both were life-long residents of Kanawha County.
Surviving are one son, Lawrence, at home; his mother, Mrs. Ida Crane of Spring Hill; two brothers, Kenneth of Crawley and Jess living in Maryland; four sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Hawkins of Crawley, Mrs.
Hattie Carver of Spring Hill, Mrs. Goldie Lipscomb of Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. Virginia Ballard of Alderson;
and two grandchildren.
Joint service will be at 2 p.m. today in Cunningham Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Mury McClung officiating.
Burial will follow in a double grave at Sunset Memorial Park.
