BRUNSWICK, Ga. - Alvin Gard Keister, 50, of Brunswick, Ga., formerly of Rainelle, Greenbrier County, W.Va., died Tuesday in a Brunswick, Ga., hospital after a long illness.

Mr. Keister, a retired miner, was a World War II veteran.

Surviving: daughters, Mrs. Linda Gilkeson of Birmingham, Ala., Mrs. Jennifer Brown of Covington, Va.; son, Eric of Rainelle, W.Va.; sister, Mrs. Gerry Newman of Brunswick, Ga.; brothers, Carl and Curtis, both of Rainelle, W.Va.; two grandchildren.

Wallace-Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle, W.Va., is in charge of arrangements.

Alvin married Fannie Lee JOHNSON, daughter of Brooks Flem JOHNSON and Margaria Nell "Margie" CRANE. (Fannie Lee JOHNSON was born in 1928 in Greenbrier Co., WV,⁶⁴ died on 23 Jan 1967 in Beckley, Raleigh Co., WV ⁷⁴ and was buried on 25 Jan 1967 in Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville, Greenbrier Co., WV ⁷⁴.)
