ANSTED - Julian C. Skaggs, 68, of Ansted, died Tuesday in Charleston Memorial Hospital. He was a retired employee of Union Carbide. Surviving: wife, Elizabeth; daughters, Mrs. Martha Craver of Dover, Del., Miss Elizabeth Skaggs of Buckhannon; sons, Julian C. of West Chester, Pa., Geoffrey of Buckhannon, Stephen at home; brother, Kenneth Skaggs of Ansted; sisters, Mrs. Charlotte Barney
of Ansted, Mrs. Barbara Pinkelton of Ansted, Mrs. Thelma Redmond of Catlin, Ill.; 10 grandchildren. The body was cremated. Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Joe Combs Funeral Home, Ansted. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
Julian married Elizabeth Katherine "Lib" CALLISON, daughter of Myrth B. "Bob" CALLISON and Stella Emma AMICK. (Elizabeth Katherine "Lib" CALLISON was born on 26 May 1912 in Corliss, Fayette Co., WV 55 and died on 27 Feb 2006 in Charleston, Kanawha Co., WV 55.)
