MARKS, Seth M. ? 42, of Pool, Nicholas county, died Thursday in a Charleston hospital. Service will be at 2:30 p.m. today in Mt. Gilead Baptist church at Pool. Rev. J. Holliday will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery with D. R. Simons mortuary of Summersville in charge. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Zela Burr Marks; two daughters, Virginia and Roberta; two sons, Seth and William; his parents, Rev. and Mrs. I. T. Marks of Russellville; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Humphrey, Charleston, and Mrs. J. C. Haynes, Morgantown; and four brothers, Spencer of Guthrie, Rev. Lon T. of Summersville, I. Thayer Marks, Charleston, and Carter B. of Russellville.
Seth married Zela G. BURR, daughter of Ryland Dickson BURR and Myrtle Virginia CALLISON. (Zela G. BURR was born on 23 May 1916 in Fayette Co., WV 55 and died in Mar 1983 in Mount Nebo, Nicholas Co., WV 55.)
