Earl R. Biggers, Engineer, Dies
Earl Ray Biggers, 60-year-old professional engineer, died unexpectedly yesterday evening at his 1647 Clay Ave., home. Mr. Biggers was with the West Virginia Engineering Co. here since 1940. A native of Fayette County, he was a graduate of Bliss Engineering School of Washington, D.C. He held membership in the Winona Baptist Church, the Longdale Lodge AF&AM No. 14 of Lookout, Scottish Rite Bodies, Beni Kedem Shrine Temple and Professional Engineers of West Virginia. Surviving are his wife, Madge Shawver Biggers; his mother, Mrs. Mollie Dillon Biggers of Winona; and one sister, Mrs. Garnet Biggers Huddle of Beckley. The body is at Cunningham Funeral Home.
Earl married Marjorie W. "Madge" SHAWVER, daughter of Leancy "Lee" SHAWVER and Willie Ann AMICK. (Marjorie W. "Madge" SHAWVER was born on 22 Aug 1905 in Fayette Co., WV 55 and died in Jul 1979 in Marianna, Jackson Co., FL 55.)
