Grady Knapp, 64, of Route 2, Myersville, died Sunday morning at Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown. He was born in Durbin, W. Va., a son of the late John A. and Elizabeth R. Tyree Knapp.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Earnie N. Knapp; five daughters, Mrs. Gladys Fulmer of Elkton, Mrs. Florence Starliper of Boonsboro, Mrs. Violet Verry of Alexandria, Mrs. Norma J. Purnell of Route 2, Myersville, and Mrs. Dorothy J. Stine of Greencastle, Pa.; seven sons, Grady A. Knapp of Alexandria, Va., Richard Knapp of Arlington, Va., and Charles, Louis, Michael, Patrick and Glenn Knapp, all at home. He Is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Bessie O'BaKer of Cumberland and 20 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Rittle Funeral Home in Myersville after 7 p.m. Monday. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday at 11 a.m.
Burial will be made in Salem Methodist Cemetery at Wolfsville.
