Francis J. Laston, 76, of Canton, died Monday, Feb. 4, at Aultman Hospital, after a long illness. He was born in Akron, and had lived in the Canton area 52 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a member of East Central Ohio Pilot's Association, St. Stephen Martyr Lutheran Church, and had worked on the editorial staff of the Canton Repository for most of his career.
