Joseph Boggs, 76, of Hines, Greenbrier County, died Jan. 8, 1988, in Humana Hospital Greenbrier Valley, Fairlea, after a short illness. He was member of Hines Baptist Church. He was a retired miner Surviving: wife, Rovena Smith Boggs; daughter, Charlotte Selvey of Meadow Bluff; sons, Melvin of Fairmont, Dwayne of Falmouth, Mass. ; sisters, Mrs. Carrie Boggs of Columbus, Ohio, Mrs. Vera Lowe of Maxwelton; brother, Ray of Ohio; two grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Wallace-Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle, with the Rev. Leroy Crane and the Rev. Steve Thomas officiating. Entombment will be in Wallace Memorial Mausoleum, Clintonville.
Joseph married Rovenia Frances SMITH, daughter of Rev. Joseph Edward SMITH and Dovie Frances SANFORD.
