RONCEVERTE - Mrs. Edith M. O'Dell, 78, Ronceverte, died Wednesday in Greenbrier Valley Hospital.
She was formerly of Hinton and had been a resident of Ronceverte for 44 years. Mrs. O'Dell was a member of Hinton Baptist Church.
Surviving: sons, Bill and Jack, both of Ronceverte; sisters, Mrs. Mary Alice Starbuck and Mrs. Willie Abbott, both of Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. Margaret Reese of Winston-Salem, N.C., Mrs. Marie Fullen of Beckley, Mrs.
Thelma Hancock of California; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren.
Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Wallace-Wallace Funeral Home, Ronceverte, with the Rev. Ronald Buckalew officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. today. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today.

The cause of his death was myocardial infarction due to coronary occlusion.
