RUPERT \emdash Terry Wayne Hunter, 59, of Shawver's Crossing, Rupert, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013, in the Charleston Area Medical Center.
Born September 11, 1953 in Ronceverte, he was the son of the late Marvin and Murlyne Souder Hunter.
Terry worked for Leckie Coal Company for 20 years; the West Virginia Department of Highways for nine years and was a Mason and a Shriner. He was an antique car enthusiast. Terry enjoyed hunting and fishing when he was able and he loved farming.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years Mitzi Anderson Hunter; his son Nathaniel Hunter of Rupert; his father-in-law Maynard Anderson of Caldwell; two brothers-in-law Kent Anderson of Maxwelton and Joe Anderson of Caldwell and one niece.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, June 10, at Smathers Funeral Chapel, Inc. with Rev. William "Bill" Cruise officiating. Burial will follow in the End of the Trail Cemetery at Clintonville.
