REECE McCLUNG DEAD

Reece McClung died on Sunday on big mountain near Rupert, aged about 80 years. He was a native of Greenbrier county and was born and had always lived in that section. Mr. McClung was highly respected by all who knew him. He was an uncle of Dr. Jas. McClung of Richwood and Dr. Dennis McClung of Huntington.

Reece Brag married Elizabeth Wheeler "Bettie" CRANE, daughter of Edward Ebbetts CRANE and Martha E. KIRBY, on 18 Apr 1878 in Greenbrier Co., WV.²⁵⁷⁰ (Elizabeth Wheeler "Bettie" CRANE was born on 11 Apr 1847 in Greenbrier Co., VA,^162,170 died on 22 Jan 1891 in Big Clear Creek Mountain, Greenbrier Co., WV ¹⁷⁰ and was buried in Amwell Baptist Church Cemetery, Rupert, Greenbrier Co., WV.)
