EDITH V. BURGESS, 74, of White Sulphur Springs, died Nov. 27, 1994, at home after a long illness. She was a member of First Church of God, White Sulphur Springs Surviving: son, Stephen R. of Covington, Va.; daughters, Norma B. Harrah of Harts Run, Nancy B. Smith of Bridgeport; brothers, Donald and George Vaughn, both of White Sulphur Springs; sister, Genevieve Cashdon of Grand Junction, Colo.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Shanklin Funeral Home, White Sulphur Springs, with the Rev. Roy C. Barber Jr. and the Rev. David Walkup officiating. Burial will be in Calvary United Methodist Church, Richlands, [W.]Va. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
