Alice Miller, 32, Takes Own Life
MEADOW BLUFF (RNS) - Mrs. Alice Faye (Shelvie Jean) Miller, 32, of Meadow Bluff died Wednesday afternoon at her
home. Death was attributed to an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Born March 17, 1941, at Crawley, she was a daughter of Roy and Stella Phipps Hunter of Meadow Bluff.
Other survivors include her husband, William Miller; one daughter, Miss Cynthia Jane Pittsenbarger, and one son, Kevin Marshall Pittsenbarger, both at home; three sisters, Mrs. Shirley King and Mrs. Janet Riffey, both of Meadow Bluff, and Mrs. Diana Wickline of Victor; two brothers, Warren and Wyatt, both of Meadow Bluff, and grandparents, Mrs. Virginia Phipps of Meadow Bridge and Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Hunter of Rupert.
The body is at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Rainelle.

Shooting Victim's Services Scheduled
MEADOW BLUFF (RNS) ? Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Faye (Shelvie Jean) Miller, 32, of Meadow Bluff will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Rainelle with Rev. Bernard Skeens and Rev. Eugene Modlin in charge. Burial will be in Old Amwell Cemetery at Crawley.
Mrs. Miller died Wednesday at her home of an self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today.
