Recently, at the residence of J. W. Price, on Beaver Creek mountain, Greenbrier county, of paralysis Mr. Robert Hayslette, aged about 65 years.

• Military: Civil War: Private, Company E, 27th Virginia Infantry, 1862. 3071 Enlisted on 19 Mar 1862 in Rockbridge Co., VA, age 35, occupation farmhand. Mustered out on 09 Sep 1862.
Robert had a relationship with Sarah Jane KELLY, daughter of James KELLY Jr. and Tabitha H. CARY. (Sarah Jane KELLY was born in Aug 1837 in Lewisburg, Greenbrier Co., VA,13,971 died in 1924 in Greenbrier Co., WV 972 and was buried in Walkup Cemetery, Kieffer, Greenbrier Co., WV.)
