Beulah Mae Britt, 88, of Danese, passed away Friday, June 13, 2009.
Born April 2, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Jackson and Anna Cadle.
Beulah was a homemaker who loved to work crossword puzzles and read her Bible daily. She was a registered foster parent for years and was of the Christian faith.
In addition to her parents, Beulah is preceded in death by her first husband James R. Hart and second husband Ralph H. Britt; four brothers and two sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, James Hart and wife Carol of Danese, Warren Hart and wife Gerri of Sand Fork, Jackson Hart of Danese; daughters, Sylvia Matheny of Price Hill, Katie Britt of Danese; sister, Nora Heath and lifelong friend Jean Mounts; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2009, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley, with Pastor Robert Barley officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
Friends may gather with the family 6 to 8 p.m. today, Tuesday, at the funeral home.
