Rites Incomplete For Mrs. Hunter
WHITE SULPHUR (RNS) - Mrs. Elizabeth Jane Hunter, 71, of White Sulphur Springs died Wednesday in a Ronceverte hospital after a long illness.
Born Aug. 9, 1898, at Muddy Creek Mountain, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Sally Quick Crane.
She was a member of Jane Chapel Methodist Church at Muddy Creek Mountain and a lifelong resident of Greenbrier County.
Survivors include her husband, John P.; two sons, John V. of Lewisburg and Ralph P. of Columbus, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Margaret) Pickering of While Sulphur Springs and Mrs. Robert (Mary) Myers of Ronceverte; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Carter of Alderson; a half sister, Mrs. Willie Moody of Ronceverte; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Roy M. Hunter.
The body is at McCraw Funeral Home in Lewisburg. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
