Lola Kessler, 97, of Coal City died Sept. 2, 2000, in a Beckley-area care facility after a long illness. She was a homemaker and attended the Church of Christ. Surviving: son, Charles P. of Cabin Creek; daughters, Margaret J. Reid
of Camp Creek, Mary F. Perdue of Coal City, Lola M. Cornell of Florida, June Tolliver of Pataskala, Ohio, Charlotte M. Burgess of North Carolina, Janet G. Williams of Ohio; sister, Alice Haga; 34 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren. Service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Prosperity. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Lola married Sam H. KESSLER. (Sam H. KESSLER was born in 1901 in WV 480 and died before 2000.)
