RAINELLE, WV - James E. "Jim" Bryant, 77, of Lilly Park, Rainelle, passed away early Tuesday morning, September 16, 2014, at his home. Born February 16, 1937, at Charmco, WV, he was the son of the late Charles L. and Garnet Carper Bryant.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Frederick Bryant. Jim was a self-employed coal operator and a co-owner of Center Chevrolet of Rainelle.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Shelby J. Carr Bryant of Rainelle, WV; Two sons: Greg Bryant & wife Melissa of Smoot, WV and Mark Bryant of Tucker, Georgia; one brother: Richard Bryant & wife Dinah of Titusville, Florida; one brother-in-law: Gary Carr & wife Joni of Murrells Inlet, SC; one sister-in-law: Margaret Bryant of St. Albans; two grandchildren: Jacqueline Hickman & husband Bernard of Valdosta, Georgia and Megan Bryant of Nashville, Tennessee;
one great-grandchild: Scarlett Hickman.
There will be a graveside service for family and friends at 1:00 PM, on Friday, September 19, 2014, at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville, with Pastor Stewart Farley officiating. Burial will follow immediately. There will be no visitation.
