James Price, 83, Dies In Virginia
RUPERT (RNS) - James Johnson Price, 83, of Rupert died Tuesday in a Richmond, Va., hospital after a long illness.
Born Jan. 25, 1890, he was a son of the late E. K. and Sasarona Price.
He was a lifelong resident of Rupert and was a retired miner.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Jones of Rupert and Mrs. Mary Selbe of Crozet, Va.; three sons, Alonzo of Beckley, Harold of Rupert and Kenneth of Canton, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie McClung of Orient Hill and Mrs. Iva Willis of Terre Haute; one half-sister, Mrs. Eva Smith of Rupert; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The body is at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Rainelle.

Funeral Set Today For James J. Price
RUPERT (RNS) ? Funeral services for James Johnson Price, 83, of Rupert will be at 2 p.m. today at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Rainelle with Rev. Houston Booth in charge. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery on Big Mountain. He died Tuesday in a Richmond, Va., hospital.
Jim married Opal J. McCLUNG, daughter of William Bollar McCLUNG and Mary E. ROUSE, on 10 Feb 1923 in Rupert, Greenbrier Co., WV.3443 (Opal J. McCLUNG was born on 11 Jul 1894 in Greenbrier Co., WV 16 and died before 1973.)
