T. A. McGuire's Funeral Pending
Thomas Andrew McGuire, 61, of 106 Reservation St., died Friday at 8 a.m. in Lanham, Md., at the home of his son, Jimmy McGuire.
He was born at Royal, the son of William and Elizabeth McGuire, in 1901.
He has been employed by Long Airdox since 1929.
Survivors include his wife, Susie; one son, Jimmy; three daughters, Mrs. Wilbur C. (June) Cook and Mrs. Guy (Irma Lee) Amato both of Beckley, and Mrs. J. D. (Corrine) Scott of Martinsburg, and four grandchildren.
The body will arrive at the Melton Mortuary today at which time funeral arrangements will be completed.
Tom married Susie Jane SIMS, daughter of John Andy SIMS and Ora Jane TINCHER. (Susie Jane SIMS was born on 26 Aug 1904 in Greenbrier Co., WV,55 died on 26 Jul 1985 in Beckley, Raleigh Co., WV 55,74 and was buried on 29 Jul 1985 in Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley, Raleigh Co., WV 74.)
