Kitty L. Daniel, 85, of Stover, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2003, at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital following a long illness. Born Sept. 5, 1918, in Raleigh County, she was the daughter of the late Prince Fleshman and Manerva Meadows Fleshman. Mrs. Daniel was a homemaker and a former operator of a grocery store at Glen White. She was a member of Coal Marsh Missionary Baptist Church at Glen Daniel. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Daniel; a son, Gerald Lee Lovern; two sisters, Mary "Maggie" Workman and Mattie Stover; and a brother, Jessie James Fleshman. Survivors include an aunt, Margie Fleshman of Glen Dan-iel; three nephews, Charles Workman of Ohio, Wade Workman of Rock Creek and Neal Workman of Ohio; and four nieces, Shirley Martin of Ohio, Bonnie Jarrell of Glen Daniel, Jane Davis of Rock Creek and June Jarrell of Whitesville. Service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel, Beckley. Burial will follow in Worley Cemetery, Bolt. Friends may call one hour before service Monday at the funeral home. Kitty married George DANIEL, son of Joel DANIEL and Fannie Ellen MILAM. (George DANIEL was born on 25 Oct 1885 in Raleigh Co., WV 1759 and died after 1947.)
