Clintonville Man Dies In Virginia

CLINTONVILLE (RNS) - William L. J. Burns, 88, of Clintonville died Monday in a Clifton Forge, Va., hospital.

Born July 4, 1880, he was a son of the late Marshall and Mary Nickells Burns.

He was a retired farmer and a member of the Sunrise Methodist Church at Clintonville.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Mary Burns of Newark, Ohio, Mrs. Mae Hundley of Buckeye Lake, Ohio, Mrs. Myrtle Hanna of Rainelle and Mrs. Mattie Wade of Long Beach, Calif.; four sons, Davy of Canton, Ohio, Willy of Granville, Ohio, Cecil of Charleston and Estel of Clintonville, and seven stepchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Sunrise Methodist Church at Clintonville with Rev. Mont Carr and Rev. Rex Ball in charge. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The body will remain at the Jack K. Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg where friends may call after 2 p.m. today.
