Viola Parr Dies; Rites Incomplete
Quinwood (RNS) - Mrs. Viola Mae Parr, 49, of Quinwood died Monday in a Ronceverte hospital after a short illness.
Born June 25, 1911, at Carl, she was a daughter of Marion Pittsenbarger of Orient Hill and the late Lula Pittsenbarger.
Other survivors include her husband, Preston H. Parr; two daughters, Mrs. Frances Carnell of Grundy, Va. and Mrs. Gloria Sweet of Crichton; a son, James Parr of Cleveland; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Shortridge of Rupert, Mrs. Violetta Yoney of Chicago, Mrs. Olive Curby of Fontana, Calif., and Mrs. Arlene Millman of Seattle, Wash.; four brothers, Lofton, of Charmco, Glenn of Craigsville, Charles of Colorado and Chalmer of Oak Hill and 11 grandchildren.
The body is at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Rainelle. Arrangements are incomplete.
