Conrad Davis Jones
NEWARK: A funeral service for Conrad D. Jones, 75, of Newark, will be held 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark, OH with Pastor James Overton officiating.
Mr. Jones passed away on April 3, 2011 at Newark Healthcare Center. He was born on July 26, 1935 in Clintonville, WV to the late Pearl and Beulah Jones.
He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Dorothy (Haynes) Jones; sons, Jeff (Jennifer) and Harry Jones; step-children, Sandy (Logan) Brown and Tom (Lynette) Greer; 11 grandchildren, Zach, Devon, Brandon, Carol, Amanda, Logan Jr., Jordan, Sarah, Josh, Jacob and Lauryn; four great-grandchildren, Lanie, Brittany, Carly and Shawn; brothers, Kay, Kenus and Carlus; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents; he is preceded in death by his sister; and brother, Sis and John.
Mr. Jones was a U.S. Army veteran. He retired from Kaiser Aluminum after 34 years and was owner of Premium Painting. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching cowboy movies.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 from 4-6 p.m. at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home.
