CLEO AUGUSTA REED, 86, OF BECKLEY, formerly of Josephine, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1993, in a Beckley hospital after a long illness. She was a homemaker. Surviving: sons, Richard of Milwaukee, Wis., Carl of Pineville, Wylie Jr., of Mullens, Eugene of Detroit, Mich., Billy of Cleveland, Ohio, Wilford of Central City, Ky., Maynard of Camp Creek, Dathan, address unknown; daughters, Virginia Reed of Cleveland, Deloris McKinney of Charleston; stepdaughter, Clara Reed of Mullens; sisters, Bessie Copenhaver of White Hall, Md., Lina Bell Brannon of Stanton, Va., Hallie Hollandsworth of Maxwelton, Clara Simmons and Mary Lester, of Renick, Jane Hull of Eagle Rock, Va.; 41 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren. Service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Prosperity, with the Rev. Cecil Bolen officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
