Mrs. Mary Crane, 75, died at her home in Rupert yesterday morning. She is survived by a brother, William S. Crane, and sister, Mrs. Betty Hendricks, Roanoke, Va.; a son, Herbert of Kessler, Greenbrier county; and five daughter, Mrs. Lula Meadows, Rupert; Mrs. Carma Beitz, Crawley; Mrs. Margie Johnson, East Rainelle; Mrs. Amy Crain, Rupert, and Mrs. Prudence Piercy, Clintonville.

The funeral will be conducted by Rev. Joe Smith from the Amwell Baptist church at 2 p.m. today with the Nickell mortuary of East Rainelle directing burial in the church cemetery.

Mary married William Starr CRANE, son of Edward Ebbetts CRANE and Martha E. KIRBY, on 23 Dec 1878 in Greenbrier Co., WV.²⁵⁸⁰ (William Starr CRANE was born on 22 Jul 1856 in Mill Creek, Greenbrier Co., VA,⁴⁶ died on 28 Oct 1933 in Kieffer, Greenbrier Co., WV ⁴⁶ and was buried in Amwell Baptist Church Cemetery, Rupert, Greenbrier Co., WV.)
