WOODBRIDGE, Va. - Anava Mae Hunter MacKay died Feb. 5, 2010, at her home in Woodbridge, Va.
Mrs. MacKay was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Anna Hunter; a brother, Curtis Hunter; and a stepson, Rodney MacKay.
Mrs. MacKay is survived by her husband, John MacKay Sr.; a son, John MacKay Jr. and wife, Dawn, of Wake Forest, N.C.; son, William MacKay and wife, Pam, of Manassas, Va.; grandsons, Collin and Christopher of Wake Forest, N.C.; stepdaughter, Allison Campbell of Toronto, Ontario; brother, Ronald Hunter and wife, Doris, of Dublin, Va.; sister-in-law, Janice Dodd and husband, John, of Lewisburg; nephew, Dennis Hunter and wife, Lana, of Westminster, Md.; niece, Sara Hunter of Dublin, Va.; cousins, Jonna Fran Taylor, Mike Remley, Patsy McClung, Ernie Hunter and Anna Hagy, all of Rupert, W.Va., and Barbara Tharp of Keifer, W.Va.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, May 16, 2010, at Wallace Memorial Cemetery at Clintonville, W.Va.
